Are you a responsible person who enjoys working with children and adolescents? Would you like to experience new challenges and see something new? Do you like to participate in a group, and leading a group of children is not a problem for you?
We’re excited to welcome you to Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, to volunteer as a Summer Camp Counselor!
During our programmes, we need an energetic and responsible team of adults that will accompany children and adolescents and help us explore their fresh ideas to design programmes and activities that will enrich the children’s holidays
Participation in these camps is a wonderful and extremely rich experience, which also requires a lot of responsibility, compassion, understanding, dedication and tolerance. The holidays are attended by children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 17, who come from very different backgrounds, including difficult social conditions.
CAMP COUNSELOR ROLE:
- Supervise a group of children (6–12 years) for at least one week.
- Ensure the campers’ health, happiness, safety, discipline, and cleanliness.
- Help plan, carry out, and evaluate activities.
- Assist with housekeeping tasks and share camp responsibilities.
- Teach, assist and encourage camper participation in programs.
- Model positive habits and relationships for campers.
- Work as a team with other staff members.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, patient, and willing to learn.

WEEKLY SCEDULE
Arrival to Kranjska Gora: Sunday afternoon (transport from Ljubljana provided)
Departure from Kranjska Gora: Friday evening (transport to Ljubljana provided)
CALENDAR OF SUMMER CAMPS
- week 1: 6. 7. – 11. 7. 2025
- week 2: 27. 7. – 1. 8. 2025
- week 3: 3. 8. – 8. 8. 2025
- week 4: 17. 8. – 22. 8. 2025
- week 5: 24. 8. – 29. 8. 2025
Group age is from 6 to 14 years old.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Age between 18 and 27 years old.
- Knowledge of English on level B2.
- Experience working with children.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Responsible, friendly, and patient.
- Participate in counsellor training.

DAILY SCHEDULE
- Sleep time: 9:00 PM (younger group) / 10:00 PM (older group)
- Group A: Younger campers (6 – 10 years)
- Group B: Older campers (10+ years)
