As part of our Sponsorship in Slovenia\u00a0 and Chain of Good People humanitarian programmes, we organise humanitarian holidays and a large number of leisure activities. Children who are already included in our humanitarian programmes Sponsorship in Slovenia and Chain of Good People, as well as children from socially less advantaged families, who are recommended to us every year by professional services (school counselling services, professional workers at the Social Work Centre, health institutions) and children who need free or subsidised holidays, based on the request of their parents, are invited to participate in these holidays. If parents are sending in an application for their child, they must describe their situation and attach the decision sent to them by the social work centre.<\/p>\n

A general application will be published (i.e. not for individual programmes, as we are trying to provide each child with one week of free holidays during the summer), and you will be able to note the month that suits you best, as well as your child’s interests, in order for us to select the most appropriate camp for them. We will always do our best to invite all children to one of the forms of vacation that we provide <\/strong> (we will personally discuss with the parents beforehand to set out the location of the vacation, the time slot, and the suitability of programmes according to the age of the child).<\/p>\n Our Humanitarian Holidays Committee adopts the final decision about the participation. Parents will be notified by e-mail or by phone.<\/strong><\/p>\n During the school year, we also organise additional holidays for children who cannot apply regularly (for paid holidays).
