Do you like to participate in a group, and leading a group of children is not a problem for you? Become an accompanying adult and come on holiday with us!
THE SEMINAR FOR EDUCATORS WILL BE HELD IN “VILA ŠUMICA” ON SATURDAY, 20 April 2024, STARTING AT 8.30 AM.
Throughout the year, we carry out holiday programs in Kranjska Gora and Zambratija, vacation at Debeli rtič, camp in Bohinj, and so much more. During our programmes, we need an energetic and responsible team of adults that will accompany children and adolescents and help us explore their fresh ideas to design programmes and activities that will enrich the children’s holidays
Participation in these camps is a wonderful and extremely rich experience, which also requires a lot of responsibility, compassion, understanding, dedication and tolerance. The holidays are attended by children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 17, who come from very different backgrounds, including difficult social conditions.
WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR IN FUTURE EDUCATORS?
- Joy or interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Accompanying adults must be from 18 to 27 years of age.
- Responsibility, fairness, and good organisational skills.
- Willingness to work in a group and leading a group of children or adolescents at the camp.
- Participation in preparatory meetings and trainings for educators:
– an introductory meeting is organised for new educators in Ljubljana every year, scheduled for March,
– a free two-day seminar is organised for all educators in Kranjska Gora, scheduled for April,
– additional training sessions are held throughout the year. - Certificate confirming the absence of any criminal record.
- Participation in and co-creation of activities and entertainment programmes for children at camps.
Professional competence and previous experience are not a prerequisite.
Skiing and swimming teachers, as well as educators experienced in working with children with special needs and leading a group of adolescents are also welcome – but this is certainly not a prerequisite.

Seminars and training sessions for educators are organised throughout the year and are free for all participants. During these seminars and training sessions, you will find out more about the course of work during these holiday retreats, learning and playing introductory games, education styles and childcare, and first aid.
